Crave has been on my list of restaurants to try and I was so happy that I was able to stop by for dinner with my mom. The interior was nicely decorated, a few minor repairs could be made on upholstery but in the scheme of things, it's the food and service that matters. Our server was absolutely wonderful, she was taking care of the bar and our table, but always had time to chat. She was extremely personable and so easy to talk to! We started off with a wine called "Sex Chocolate" which was delicious you must try it. We then tried the street corn trio which features Craves take on street corn 3 different ways. I don't even like blue cheese but I loved the blue cheese and bacon version. For dinner we had the tune and short ribs. It had to be some of the best tuna I have had. Simple flavors done right. The short ribs were melting in your mouth and the side of beans it came with were outstanding. We saved room for dessert and got the french toast which was sweet and a little savory, I loved it. If you're looking for a nice place in akron for an intimate dinner, or want to try a new restaurant with friends, definitely check out Crave.

Upscale dining located in downtown Akron. We had the calamari, salmon, short ribs, and chocolate torte. Everything was delicious and we definitely would be back again to try other items as the whole menu looked appetizing. Complements to the Chef on presentation and vast array of flavors/textures with each dish. Expect to take your time eating, it’s not a rushed experience if you are limited on time.

This is the second time I've been here, though the first time was a handful of years ago. We stopped by after the eclipse for a beautiful sunny dinner on their patio. It's a nice setting in the city. We both enjoyed our food so much. I had the blackened chicken mac and cheese and fried green tomatoes. So much flavor! Tje cocktail was a special, the banana eclipse which was really good. Our service was wonderful. Definitely plan on going back as everything on the menu sounded great!

Cute establishment in downtown Akron. The restaurant was clean with clean bathrooms (big deal for me). I ordered a side salad and the grouper entree. Both were good but don’t order the grouper if you are not a fan of hummus that comes with it. My husband had the blackened chicken/mac and cheese entree and it was SO good! We always compete on who orders the best dish and he won! lol. We had the brownie dessert. It came with chocolate ice cream with chocolate chips in it and pretzels on top - which was a surprisingly tasty concoction. Our server was so attentive and friendly and timed our food just right. Overall I had a great experience!

My two sisters and I had a great lunch. The food was fantastic, they said the cocktails were also great. Our service by Katie was awesome. We had the smoked salmon bagel,calamari, crab cakes, and fried tomatoes. Place was great, we'll be back.

Crave was a great culinary experience. Food: airline chicken was great, as was the brisket and the Mac and cheese. Service: quick and attentive servers Atmosphere: relaxed, fun vibe. The decorations are sparse and modern, but the light fixtures are cool and criss cross the room in a fun way. The ceiling is well carved and the whole space of the restaurant is well designed.

Phenomenal experience! Menu is unique and so flavorful. 3 of us dined like queens and ordered half the menu. Stars of the show were the smoked tuna appetizer with Wasabi foam and the Chilean sea bass. Will be back for dinner to try next season's menu.

Our server Emily was phenomenal, personable, and took great care of us! You could tell management was actively on the floor helping staff which as a former restaurant human I can absolutely appreciate. Food was FIRE! The Cesar hot sauce wings man with the blue cheese!! Me and my bf do not like blue cheese but all those flavors together wow! Chef Jimmy’s special tonight, the swordfish, that man I swear has god living in his hands and his ability to craft dishes that are beyond creative and delicious. Will absolutely be back and will recommend to everyone!! Seriously everything was so good. Thank you.

Went here on pride day on a Saturday night. Everything was great. No wait, wonderful waitresses. The food came out fast and it was delicious. I had the crab cakes with a shrimp add on and sweet potato fries. It was so yummy, I will definitely be back for more. The margaritas were good. One had Patrol and one had Don Julio. Both were perfectly made. All the waitress were dressed in pride colors and had great energy. Thank you so much!!

I was very much impressed by the food, and if you see my other reviews around Akron you would know I am quite picky here. I got the seared tuna app and cornflake crusted chicken entrees. They were unique, not what I expected, but still phenomenal. The aesthetic of the restaurant was very unique looking as well being an old bank, and they played great music.
